Happy Birthday Mary Lou!

Today is the 90th birthday of our Grandmother Mary Lou Matta Garza.

She is an incredible lady and has had many accomplishments, not to mention a whole lot of people who love her!

 We would like to share the news of her being recognized in The Library of Congress. You can read the page here. 

We are so proud that she is the loving, strong, wonderful woman who has inspired many.

GOOD NEWS, we are scheduled to re-open Sunday, July 29th!

 Since we cook everything from scratch we need days after the repair crew is out, to get in there and prepare! Not to mention we have to put everything back in it's place...lots of work to do.

It's raining, it's pouring!

During yesterdays storm it was raining inside our restaurant!! Yes I said raining! Thankfully our friends at Oh Flood were here promptly to assess the damage & get started right away last night on drying out our place and doing the necessary repairs. Unfortunetly we will be closed for possibly a week to get the place back in shape. We will keep you updated, who knows, maybe a picture or 2 for evidence...I mean for you to see.
